Caroline Putnam Lithgow Public Library will host a fine art display by painter Caroline Putnam in the historic Reading Room, from May 11-22. The paintings are available for sale from the artist. "The variety of images that I’ve chosen for this display reflects the diversity of interests I’ve had over the course of my life," Putnam said. With a lifetime of experience as a professional fine artist, Putnam has gathered a uniquely varied body of knowledge and skills. She started drawing at the age of two and chose Rhode Island School of Design for her formal art training. Her love of the outdoors and wide open spaces led her to the desert country of Sedona, Arizona, where she maintained an art studio and became a master gardener.
