On WEDNSDAY, OCTOBER 7th The Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce will hear from FairPoint Communications President, Peter Nixon at their Business Insider Breakfast scheduled for 7:30 AM at the Senator Inn in Augusta.

According to their website, FairPoint Communications owns and operates local exchange companies in 18 states offering advanced communications including local and long distance voice, data, Internet, television and broadband services.

Nixon is responsible for regulatory and external/governmental affairs, economic development, and supply chain for all of FairPoint’s operations. A graduate of Cornell University, Nixon has more than 30 years experience in telecommunications.
