The Gaslight Theater proudly presents the last full production of the 2009 season.  Rabbit Hole" by David Lindsay-Abaire is about Becca and Howie Corbet, a couple who has everything they could want.  A tragic accident makes that irrelevant and send Becca and Howie drifting in different directions. Becca’s well-meaning mom and off-kilter sister attempt to lift their spirits (and deal with their own problems), each in her own inimitable way.  The play follows the couple on their separate journeys seeking comfort with family and each other and finding closure in this tense time in their life.

The Show is directed by Lee Kerr and Produced by Richard Bostwick. The cast is Laura Graham as Becca, Bart Shattuck as Howie, Ellen White as Izzy, Margaret Matheson as Nat,  and Nate Speckman as Jason.

"With RABBIT HOLE, David Lindsay-Abaire has crafted the most serious, simply told work of his career—a painstakingly beautiful, dramatically resourceful, exquisitely human new play." —BackStage.

The play debuted on Broadway in January 2006 and featured Tyne Dailey and Cynthia Nixon.  It won the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for drama.

Rabbit Hole is presented on November 5, 6, 7 and 12, 13, 14 at Hallowell City Hall.  Curtain is 7:30 on Thursdays and 8 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.  AN opening night reception on November 5th will follow the performance.
