The City of Hallowell’s Clean Up schedule will be as follows:
Brush and Leaves:
Each Household may drop off up to 5 cubic yards of brush and leaves not in bags to the Town Farm Road Pit which is open between 7:00AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday and Saturday November 7th, 14th and Sunday November 8th, 15th.
The City will ONLY accept white metal goods, such as washers, dryers, ranges, water heaters, etc: (REGRIGERATORS, FREEZERS, OR APPLIANCES WHICH USE FREON GAS AS A COOLANT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED) at Public Works Garage on Water Street which is open between 7:00AM to 3:30PM, Monday through Friday and Saturday November 7th, 14th and Sunday November 8th, 15th during this CLEAN UP SCHEDULE.
HOUSEHOLD RUBBISH, TV’S, COMPUTERS, AND TIRES OF ANY KIND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
