Help Bring Well Deserved Attention to These Kids!

Band Members, Declan Chu (guitar), Danielle Pease (lead singer), Aaron St.Pierre (bass guitar), Twin, Kristen Veayo (guitar), Twin, Katherine Veayo (drums) Listen Up People: Fyve is not just any garage band. I have heard their music and these fourteen year old kids rock out with energy, conviction and a grounded musical purpose comparable to many touring bands out there today. NO BULL!

Fyve is in currently a top ten finalist in the SchoolJam USA competition for the USA North East Region! Only 2 out of these 10 bands who get the most votes will get the chance to battle it out live and on stage in California. Also, if they win, their school gets $5000 toward music programs and the band gets recognition and new equipment too.

PROGRESS REPORT: Fyve is currently NOT getting enough votes compared to the nine other semi-finalist bands from big cities like NYC and Boston. Therefore, in order to move on to the SchoolJam USA finals in California your support is needed.

GOOD NEWS–We still have 3 weeks left of daily voting!! You can help Fyve prove themselves on a national level.

All you need to do to help is:

Step 1–Register to vote by entering your e-mail in the SchoolJam USA box located at Fyve’s webpage: http://fyverock.com

Step 2– Vote once every 24 hours until Dec 5th.  (You cannot vote again until 24 hours has gone by.

Step 3–Please forward this letter to all your friends, This is the only way Maine’s Fyve can compete with big city bands.

Fyve’s next gig will be at the Winthrop Mega Fest 09 on November 13 at Winthrop High School with Headstart Releasing a new album, followed by FYVE, Push to Talk and Terminal 12. The show will run from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm. All the bands are Winthrop grown. Ticket will by $5 in advance or $7 at the door. Search Winthrop Mega Fest online to purchase advance tickets. Proceeds to benefit local clubs.
