Opening reception called "About Face" to be held on Thursday, December 17, 2009
Salt Institute for Documentary Studies will be be hosting an opening reception called "About Face" on Thursday, December 17, 2009 from 5 to 8 p.m. at 561 Congress Street in Portland. Documentary student, Aida Curtis from Atlanta Georgia, spent several hours interviewing Robert Saunders for an essay that she has prepared to illuminate his inspiring career in creating visual poetry.
Mr. Saunders will be one of the guests of honor for the evening at Salt and they would like to invite everyone to attend the show which will run through February 26, 2010.

In the meantime, you and your friends are invited to view Mr. Saunders’ new works of visual poetry at Corniche at 325 Water Street in Gardiner directly across from the Gardiner Post Office. We have his new triptych called "Language I, II and III" and his most recent "Twins Duet." Please call before you come; we’d love to meet you and show you Mr. Saunders luminous new work.
