The Opera House welcomes the Tardy brothers, also known as Audiobody. From electro-drums to streaks of LED lights to their electronic jump suits these masters of comedy, music and improv promise to brighten up a winter’s eve. They’ve been called “A modern day Smothers Brothers meets Blue Man Group!” and “an act like no other.” Audiobody has performed from the Bahamas to Reno to the White House. Now they come to Boothbay Harbor. Do not miss this fascinating performance.

Enlisting the energy of an atomic bomb and the creativity of DaVinci himself, brothers Matt and Jason Tardy made their debut under the name AudioBody in 2004 with the album, “Sound. Motion. Theater.”. Music from the album was quickly picked-up by internationally acclaimed film-makers, EepyBird, and featured in two Emmy nominated videos depicting The Extreme Diet Coke and Mentos Experiments.

The burst of popularity was quite unexpected and they scrambled to fill the thousands of CD orders that came in from all over the world. For a period of about 2 months “Sound. Motion. Theater” was the #1 selling album from the largest independent distributor in the country! This was soon followed by countless TV credits including VH1, The Today Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Good Morning America, Inside Edition, MythBusters, and G4TV.

In 2007 AudioBody released their second album called “Do Something Difficult”, boasting 15 new songs of their funky techno-rock, including a remix of the ever-popular “You Gotta Tap”.

With over 15 years of experience in the performing arts, the members of AudioBody have performed all over the world. Highlights include the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, the Golden Phoenix Casino in Reno, NV and even The White House in Washington DC three times!
