camden conference 2010 Camden Conference Satellite Venue – The 2010 conference to be held on February 19 to the 21st will focus on Afghanistan, Pakistan and India – an area termed the most challenging in the world by many 2009 conference speakers. In 2010, an outstanding array of experts will shed light on the area’s history, culture, current unsettled situation and prospects for the future.

In these post 9/11 times, America must be aware as never before of the dynamics at play in this region, where ancient cultures driven by equally ancient rivalries struggle with the present day consequences of modernization, globalization, and religious strife.

No assessment or understanding of the situation in Afghanistan can be separated from attention to critical factors and developments in neighboring Pakistan which in turn leads to a focus upon the complex and volatile relations between Pakistan and India. The conference will offer both specific and overview presentations devoted to the broad array of issues raised within this turbulent region as well as the role of U.S. policies and programs in this “crossroads of conflict.”

The conference is streamed live to the Strand from the Opera House in Camden. Limited questions will be taken from attendees at this satellite venue. Tickets cost $150. Special student rates of $40 are also available. Tickets available through the Camden Conference by visiting their link below.
