Get you tickets early! Slates has been trying to line this show up for a while now. Rustic Overtone’s incredible Alto-sax player Ryan Zoidus has quite the musical career going. This Portland Maine based musician is also a member of the jazz/funk/soul group Soulive and has performed with such great artists as Stevie Wonder, Fred Wesley, Chaka Khan, David Bowie, and many others. Their style can be described as” experimental soul jazz”….a mix of covers and originals covering hip-hop to jazz – all done with their own twist. Nigel Hall (Soulive & Neville Brothers)on keyboards & vocals, DJ Moore(Brenda) on Drums, and Stu Mahan on Bass make up this all-star crew!!
