Bath Matters and more news.
It’s school vacation week, and it’s been fun to see parents and kids out enjoying lunch and shopping together downtown. If you’re looking for more vacation week activities, don’t forget that Main Street Bath is looking for aspiring artists, creative students, and community friends to help us decorate the downtown with your personalized banners for our 6th annual Banners over Bath event. Come pick up a banner at the Main Street Bath office and exercise your creativity for an entry fee of $20. The banners will hang from downtown lampposts from mid-March through May. Or get your camera out and take some winter photographs; Bath is looking very photo-ready this week with all the hearts hung last weekend by the Valentine bandit. Our Winter Photo Contest ends February 28th so there’s still time to send us your entries!
Speaking of hearts, kudos to our Bath restaurants for raising over $1600 to donate to the Red Cross for the Haiti Relief fund.
