Andean music concert — Benjamin Mays Center

Concert. Concert: The Office of Multicultural Affairs presents Andean musician and performer Kike Pinto. Pinto is the founder and director of Taki Andean Music Museum located in Cusco, Peru. He is also a musician, performer, composer and researcher of Latin American indigenous instruments and music. His concert features a variety of native instruments. This program is also in conjunction with the Latin American Indigenous Movements: Frontiers of Activism Symposium.

About The Olin Arts and Concert Hall

The Olin Arts Center was built with a gift from the F. W. Olin Foundation in 1986. In addition to the Bates College Museum of Art and a 300-seat concert hall, Olin houses a slide library, classrooms, faculty offices, individual and group practice rooms for musicians, art studios (including a drawing studio with a panoramic view of Lake Andrews), and two photographic darkrooms.
