The Big Moose Band, a Contra Dance Band from Down East plays at Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center, 280 Water Street, Gardiner, on March 12 at 7:30 pm.

Big Moose Band #4 Big Moose entertains with Celtic and fiddle tunes, and lively Franco step dancing.  You’ll hear some of New England’s best fiddlers—including an 80-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl!  Show Co-Supporters are Sheila Hanley of Vallee Real Estate and Ayer European Auto.

Ticket prices are: Adult $14; Johnson Hall Member $12; Student w/ID $5. The Sounds Good! music series is hosted by Denise Reehl, Artistic Consultant at Johnson Hall.  Shows are Fridays in March and April at 7:30 pm at Johnson Hall, Gardiner.  At intermission, desserts, coffee and concession items will be offered for sale.  Johnson Hall provides a great opportunity to listen to live professional music in an intimate setting, meet the musicians, and be on television as part of the studio audience.  Time Warner Cable tapes the shows for future TV broadcast.
