simons goodwin photo 1 Folk singers Simons and Goodwin will give a concert at Lithgow Public Library on Thursday, March 11 at 6:30 p.m.  The concert, which will be their fourth appearance at Lithgow, is free and open to the public.  It will take place in the library’s Reading Room.

The duo  comprised of Renee Goodwin of Augusta and Bob Simons of Georgetown  will give an eclectic performance of contemporary and traditional folk music.  Simons and Goodwin have recorded three CDs, “Rough Cuts” in 2006, “Come on Home” in 2007, and “Buttermilk Hill,” which was released in January.  Both performers play acoustic guitar and share vocals.
