“Medical Marijuana in Maine and Beyond” Conference originally scheduled for April 24 has been postponed to allow for broader participation.
The conference will be held on June 5. The keynote will be delivered by Montel Williams.
The internationally known actor, commentator, and talk show host uses medical marijuana to alleviate the symptoms of his multiple sclerosis. As the head of the Montel Williams MS Foundation, he has been a leader in supporting public education about the disease and raising money for scientific research about multiple sclerosis.
A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Navy, Williams has also been an outspoken advocate for our nation’s veterans.
