About the teen band Fyve- Website is  www.FyveRock.com.

Based in Winthrop, Maine, and comprised entirely of 14 and 15 year-old students from Winthrop High School, Fyve has been tearing up the New England gig circuit, winning accolades and awards everywhere they go. Within the last four months, they have placed in the top three in the “Best High School Band in New England Competition” at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots, top five in the “Maine Rock Off”, and they took the grand prize among 15 acts from 9 states at the Hard Rock Café in Boston, MA.  Fyve has played at Webster Hall in NYC and was featured live on local CBS and Fox TV shows!  There’s a reason why they’ve had so much success: these kids are good.  Seeing Fyve perform is like going back 2 decades, when new bands earned their way into the business by refining their live performances gig after gig before ever recording their music.

Fronting the band is Danielle Pease, whose raspy, rock-style vocals and terrific stage presence hook the crowd from the moment she begins singing.  Danielle is a natural, instinctive performer who was born into a family with a long list of accomplished musicians.  Identical twins Kristen & Katherine Veayo each bring their unparalleled gifts to the table.  Katherine, drummer and back-up vocalist, is the cornerstone upon which the entire band rests.  Her rock solid groove and considerable chops provide the foundation that the band needs to soar.  Kristen, guitarist, vocalist, and the bands primary songwriter, has an astounding natural ear for melody and vocal harmony.  Her catchy hooks will have you singing along with the band, and for hours after the show.  Once you’re hooked, Declan Chu steps in and dazzles you with his blazing guitar solos, leaving no doubt that he is one of the great, young, up-and-coming guitarists.  The glue that holds the band together is bassist Aaron, “The Anchor”, St. Pierre, whose funky, syncopated bass lines propel the group to heights previously unimaginable for people their age.  And, as if all that weren’t enough, add tight, well arranged three-part vocal harmonies guided by Danielle with the twins in the background!

FYVE Really Rocks!!
