December 7th is Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. With that fact in mind, I would like to share with you some phenomenal photos that was recently discovered by a reader in an old trunk. These Photos were stored in Brownie Box Camera for 68 years and were taken by an unidentified sailor serving aboard the USS Quapaw ATF110.
Antje Duvekot is the kind of rare musical discovery you find all too seldom and treasure greatly. Surely, most of her music could be classified as folk or soft rock or even, in a few cases, mellow country but like most fantastic artists if you really think about it, you find that she is not peggable. Her songs shine in live intimate settings interspersed with anecdotes and stories that really ground the music. She has a hunorous and hesitant way of speaking that really draws you in.
