The Maine Crafts Guild’s 2nd Annual show at the Damariscotta River Association’s Round Top Farm is a beautiful indoor/outdoor summer Show. The finest in high-quality Maine craftsmanship will occupy the beautiful Farmhouse gallery building and lawn as approximately 50 craftspeople display their work at this wonderful venue.

Kennebec River Artisans Celebrates 5th Anniversary with Open House December 3nd

The Creatorium – Rockland’s Creative Emporium, December 4th

The Creatorium – Rockland’s first indie craft show – will open its doors Saturday December 4th, from 9am to 4pm at the Lincoln Street Center, 24 Lincoln Street in Rockland. Forging from natural fibers, metal, glass and paper, over 60 artists and craftspeople will set up to showcase their talents and sell their wares to folks who are looking for the perfect gift for friends, family and coworkers.

Expressive Drawing Class for Youth offered at Lincoln Street Center for Arts and Education

The Lincoln Street Center in Rockland is now accepting registrations for Totem – Lessons in Creative Self Exploration and Realistic Drawing for young beginners taught by Becky Barrows. These classes are for youth, grades 5-9. Starting October 19th, the class will be held twice weekly for three weeks on Tuesdays and Thursday, from 4-6pm in the Art Studio.

REMINDER American Craft Week Opening at Monkitree on October 1st

To celebrate American Craft Week, Monkitree will showcase the work of members of the Maine Woodturners. A wonderful selection of turned bowls, vases and platters created from gorgeous pieces of wood will be displayed and available for purchase through October. This show is a perfect complement to the Speak for the Trees show currently adorning the walls.

Lincoln Street Center for Arts and Education Announces Clay Workshops for Both Kids and Adults

Beginning September 29, Clay courses will resume in the pottery studio of Lincoln Street Center at 24 Lincoln St., Rockland, with instructor Ann McClellan. Eight consecutive weeks will allow for multiple projects and skill-building techniques to be taught.

Making Flowers from Polymer Clay and Machine Sewing Workshops at Sweetland Retreat

Join instructor Connie Pelkey of Constance Pelkey Designs for a fun morning of learning how to make flowers from polymer clay, a very approachable and versatile medium. We will learn to condition the clay, mix colors, make Skinner blends and finally a petal cane. After, we will learn simple sculpting techniques for making life-like carnations! Come learn some fun tips and tricks for sculpting flowers!
