On July 4 this year, the WOW group will represent Topsham in the annual Independence Day Parade in Washington, DC. Fifty kids, grade 3 thru 10 from SAD 75 will ride unicycles down Constitution Avenue as part of one of Washington, DC’s largest public events of the year, drawing over 100,000 spectators from around the world.
The Mid Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross is hosting their 3rd Annual Benefit Golf Tournament on Monday, 26 September 2011 at the challenging 9-hole Scottish links course at Highland Green Golf Club in Topsham. Check-in begins at 8:00 am, for a 9:00 am tee off. All proceeds will support the Chapter’s mission to provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
Spectrum Generations Southern Midcoast Community Center in Topsham is hosting the Life Without Limits Expo on September 20, 2011 from 9:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. in the Cook’s Corner Mall in Brunswick. Admission is free and parking is plentiful.
This summer, Woodside Elementary School in Topsham is sponsoring a series of four exciting and unique week-long day camps open to all area children entering grades 3 – 6. There is still limited space available in each session.
Table reservations are now available for the 2nd Annual WOW Indoor Flea Market and Craft Fair at Woodside Elementary School in Topsham. Tables are available for a tax deductible donation of $25. The Flea Market and Craft Fair will take place Saturday, March 5 from 8 am – 2 pm in the Woodside School cafeteria and gymnasium at 42 Barrows Drive in Topsham.
