We want to rise up with our friends, families, and peers to help bring down Joseph Kony, history’s worst war criminal. He abducts children in Africa from their homes, takes away their dignity, and hands them a gun. This evil man forces these children to join his army to cause harm to others to maintain his reputation of power. We must help put a stop to him, starting in Waterville, Maine.
As part of the ongoing effort to raise awareness of senior hunger, Spectrum Generations Muskie Center will participate in the annual March for Meals campaign on Tuesday, March 13thstarting at 9:00AM. Mayors for Meals Day is a component of March for Meals that utilizes the involvement of local mayors and elected officials to show their support of their senior nutrition programs and commit to the pledge that “No Senior Goes Hungry”.
Spectrum Generations Muskie Center will be offering the following day trips: Hollywood Slots Friday, March 9th and a Maine Maple Sunday trip with stops at local farms with a lunch stop in-between on Sunday, March 25th. Call 873-4745 to sign up or for more information.

He will present his new vision of economic development in Maine and will speak to some of the efforts he has set in motion with the recently formed Kennebec Valley Entrepreneurial Network. The Waterville Area Art Society and Waterville Main Street are proudly co-presenting the 2012 Maine Open Juried Art Show at the spectacular, newly-renovated Waterville Public Library in Downtown Waterville. Now entering its 22nd year, the Maine Open Juried Art Show attracts over 80 artists representing over 50 Maine communities and a variety of media, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and other media. Everyone at the Opera House is excited to be nearing the end of renovations. Most notably, construction has begun on the exterior of the building for the creation of the new wing. The new wing will house the new restrooms and dressing rooms, as well as provide ADA access from the lobby to the stage.
