Aaron Rodgers Says He Misled Media With ‘Immunized’ Comment

For most of the 2021 season, Aaron Rodgers’ COVID-19 vaccine status remained one of the most enigmatic and controversial headlines in the sports world.

The Packers star re-examined the situation on Saturday’s podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience” and revealed to host Joe Rogan that his infamous “I’m immunized” comment was actually a deliberate deception.

During the conversation, Rodgers, 38, discussed the choice of words he used when revealing his status to reporters last August. After telling the NFL that his medical exemption had been denied, the veteran quarterback reiterated why he was undergoing an “immunization process through a holistic physician,” telling Rogan that he was uncomfortable taking the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and allergic to was for an ingredient used in the Moderna and Pfizer glycol or PEG.
