Anne Heche’s final resting place has been revealed

Date:

Anne Heche will be buried with some of the other biggest names in showbiz at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles.

The body of the “Men in Trees” star was cremated on August 18, and her remains will be buried at the famous site, according to the death certificate obtained by E! News.

Judy Garland, Mel Blanc, Mickey Rooney, Marion Davies and Cecil B. DeMille are just some of the big names buried there as well.

A Heche spokesperson did not immediately respond to our request for comment.

Earlier this month, the 53-year-old actress smashed her Mini Cooper into a Los Angeles home, which then went up in flames.

Her rep told Page Six that the “Six Days, Seven Nights” star had suffered severe brain injuries, a lung injury that required mechanical ventilation, and severe burns that required surgical intervention. She fell into a coma and never regained consciousness.

Investigators were reportedly able to determine that she was under the influence of cocaine at the time of the crash.

A week later, on August 12, the “Donnie Brasco” star was declared brain dead, but survived to give an organ registry time to find recipients.

That same day, Heche’s representative released a statement about her death.

“Today we lost a bright light, a kind and most joyful soul, a loving mother and a loyal friend,” the statement read. “Anne will be deeply missed, but she lives on through her beautiful sons, her iconic body of work and her passionate advocacy. Her courage to always stand in her truth and spread her message of love and acceptance will have a lasting impact.”

According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, the actress — who famously co-starred with Ellen DeGeneres in the 1990s — died from smoke inhalation and the thermal injuries.

They also cited a sternal rupture from blunt force trauma as a contributing factor to her death, which was ruled accidental.

Heche is survived by 20-year-old son Homer Laffoon, whom she co-parented with ex-husband Coleman “Coley” Laffoon, and 13-year-old son Atlas Heche Tupper, whom she shared with ex-boyfriend James Tupper.
