Round 1: They touch gloves. Hard low kick from Fortune to get things going. Another but James catches him and sends him to the canvas. Fortune gets up and James grabs him and pushes him against the cage, Fortune turns around. There is a break in action after Fortune kneels his foe in the groin area. Fortune shoots for the takedown as soon as the action resumes, and he gets it. There isn’t much action on the ground. Fortune delivers some shots to James’ side, but nothing seems to hurt him. James is a sitting duck with Fortune on top of him. James tries to get up and Fortune takes his back and sinks into a naked choke. It’s tight and James fights the hands and he reverses position and he starts landing bombs on Fortune to close out the round. Wild! Super close round. 10-9 Fortune

Round 2: James lands a massive uppercut in the opening seconds of round two that drops Fortune! He jumps and starts to let his elbows fly. One after another. The referee gives Fortune time to recover, but he’s seen enough. Wow! What a debut from James!

End result: Defeats James. Fortune via TKO in the second round

Roman faraldo against Levan Chokheli

Round 1: Both men come out swinging and Chokheli goes for an early takedown, and he gets it. Chokheli almost choked, but Faralod escapes. Back on his feet and Chokheli lets his fist fly and he rocks Faraldo for a moment. Chokheli moves in for the takedown, stuffed and a nice judo throw from Farlaldo, landing in mountain position. That was smooth. Farldo starts to let the elbows fly and Chokheli somehow reverses position and he is now on guard. Chokheli doesn’t do much from this position. He gets some space and starts with the ground-and-pound. Faraldo tries to get back up, but Chokheli holds his position. Faraldo scrambles, but he can’t escape his opponent’s tight grip. This was an exciting round, but Chokheli takes it. 10-9 Chokheli

Round 2: Faraldo lands a right hand and Chokheli goes for another takedown, but he’s full. They swing towards the fences, but Chokheli doesn’t like it at all and grabs Faraldo and pushes him against the cage. Chokheli is in the open watch of Faraldo. Chokheli takes Faraldo’s back and is now chasing the rear naked choke. Faraldo escapes, but he eats a kick to Chokheli’s face. Chokheli grabs Faraldo and drags him to the gate, but he eats some elbows on the side of the head due to his trouble. Chokheli with a nice right hand, but Faraldo drops him with a nice right hand and he jumps. Chokheli tries to survive while Faraldo unleashes hell with his fists. He’s out of trouble for now. Faraldo now lands several blows to the side of the head and he gets a point deducted for grabbing the fence. He ends the round with non-stop elbows. He would have won the round if it weren’t for the fence hold. 9-9

Round 3: Faraldo needs a finish because if he wins this round, the fight will be a draw. Faraldo swings hard, but nothing clean comes out. Chokheli fires on the takedown, but it’s loaded again. Both men slowed down quite a bit in the third and final round after throwing a big heat in the first two rounds. Left hook from Chokheli and Faraldo fires back with a clean right hand. Chokheli changes levels and he finally gets knocked out. It’s a critical takedown that will earn him points in the round. Faraldo has to work his way up to try and get the knockout or secure a submission from the ground. Chokheli has a great position and he is not going to let it go. Chokheli gets a warning from the ref to work a little harder. Faraldo works hard to get up, but Chokheli doesn’t budge with one minute left in the fight. The fight ends in the same position with Chokheli on top and Faraldo trying to get to his feet. 10-9 Chokheli

End result: Chokheli defeats. Faraldo via unanimous decision
