Bethenny Frankel clashed with Jeff Lewis and Andy Cohen over her “Housewives” rewatch podcast, “ReWives,” during a fiery exchange on “Watch What Happens Live” Wednesday.
“Nobody has a recap show for ‘Housewives,'” the “Flipping Out” alum, 52, sarcastically told the “Real Housewives of New York City” alum, 52, referring to podcasts like Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge’s “Two Ts In a pod.”
The dark comment caused Frankel to clarify that she was different from the other “housewives” because she was “not let go of Bravo” and is not a “disgruntled employee.”
Lewis then admitted he was “fired” from his interior design show, prompting Frankel to bite back: “Right, and that’s why you’re so bitter.”
The Sirius XM “Jeff Lewis Live” host responded, “No, I’m not bitter at all. I’ve landed in a better place.”
“That’s what they all say,” Frankel said then, rolling her eyes.
Lewis added: “No, I really did, I’m happy.”
Frankel noted that it was Lewis who “opened the door” to the heated conversation, saying, “Why do a recap like it’s never been done before?” and asked the audience, “Did he shade or not?”
Lewis fired back, “Wow, someone is so defensive.”
Earlier in the segment, Frankel also sparred with Cohen, 54, who defended his position on her rewatch podcast.
“I thought it was a little hypocritical of you [launch the podcast] because you guys have been publicly berating the ‘Housewives’ for the last three years,” Bravo’s executive said, suggesting the pair “spit out” their differences on-air.
The Skinnygirl founder went on to explain that she disagreed with Cohen expressing one opinion “publicly” and offering a different story behind closed doors.
“What I said to you in private was, ‘Wow, I’m glad to see you’re embracing the ‘Housewives,'” explained Radio presenter Andy, to which Frankel replied, “Which is not the same as what you say in public said.”
She continued, “I actually didn’t ruin the show. I said it wasn’t for me because I think it was toxic and I have a right not to want to be there but still want to talk about it.
“How can I go over a decade and have no reflections to share?” the “Big Shot” alum questioned.
Frankel appeared in the first three seasons of “RHONY” and later returned for Season 7.
However, she left the series for good at the end of Season 11 in 2019.
