Charges have been brought against seven Michigan state football players for their involvement in a melee in the Lloyd Carr tunnel following Michigan football’s 29-7 victory over MSU in Ann Arbor.
Video showed several MSU players punching and kicking two UM players separately, later identified as Ja’Den McBurrows and Gemon Green.
After weeks of investigating the Big Ten, the University of Michigan Police and Michigan State University Police, testimonies, the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office released their findings Wednesday afternoon.

“Following the altercation between members of the Michigan and Michigan State football teams on Oct. 29, the University of Michigan Division of Public Safety and Security (UMDPSS) has conducted a thorough investigation into possible criminal liability,” a statement published Wednesday afternoon said. “At the conclusion of that investigation, UMDPSS filed with the state attorney general’s office for criminal charges against several individuals — all student-athletes on the Michigan State football team.”
