David Gordon Green‘s Halloween trilogy comes to an end with Halloween ends On 14 Octoberand we learned today that it is coming to Peacock and theaters on the same day.

The film is being positioned as the END battle between Michael Myers and Laurie Strode, which Jamie Lee Curtis emphasizes once again in today’s big announcement video.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for it Halloween ends: “Four years after last year’s events Halloween killsLaurie lives with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is writing her memoirs. Michael Myers has not been seen since. After letting the ghost of Michael define and direct her reality for decades, Laurie has decided to free herself from fear and anger and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is accused of murdering a boy he was babysitting, unleashing a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she cannot control, once and for all.”

Nick Castlethe original Michael Myers, had recently noted that: Halloween ends will be a “surprising” conclusion to David Gordon Green’s trilogy, while makeup effect artist Chris Nelson similarly teased that the third installment in the trilogy is “weird” and “different”. And John Timmerman had also called the new film a “departure” in a recent interview.

Halloween ends will also be the return of Will Patton as Officer Frank Hawkins, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace and James Jude Courtney as The Shape/Michael Myers.
