He stated, “Next: Corwith Barns… The barns are no longer there, but I’ve photographed them many times, and I’m working on a large painting that hopefully captures every broken board on that fading structure.”

Stern then said he saw the project as a way to reconnect with his late father.

“I’m not sure how old those barns were, but I feel like painting the barns is a tribute to him and all those who get older and are gone after that,” he said.

According to Distractify, Ben’s cause of death has not yet been revealed to the public.

It was also noted that Stern’s father had worked with his son on several projects over the years.

He recalled, “I would see these guys at work. And I said, “Oh my God. If my father looked at me like that, he’d be so proud of me.”

Stern also recalled Ben being supportive of his early career, though over time he still made it a point to constructively criticize his son.

‘My father wrote me a letter. And he said to me, you know, it’s great that you’re up in the air and everything. But I listened to the tape. And you go, ah, ah, ah every minute… And you don’t sound professional. And you don’t articulate,” he said.
