Less than one a week after Kanye West praised Adolf Hitler in an interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, West — flanked by white supremacist Nick Fuentes — sat down with Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes to demand that Jewish people “forgive Hitler.”

The 45-minute episode titled “Saving Ye” on the alt-right video platform Censored.TV, begins with McInnes at an airport spitting out his wish to “prevent Ye West from becoming an anti-Semite or a Nazi” and to “make him to be fooled”. ledge.” In the same breath, McInnes expresses his hope to show West that “our problem is the liberal elites of all races,” and goes on to cite two black leaders, Kamala Harris and Barack Obama, as a “major problem.”

After getting into a car, McInnes says he meets West at a safe location in Los Angeles. The camera cuts to the 45-minute interview with West and Fuentes, which McInnes says takes place just two days after the InfoWars debacle. West, whose face is covered in a mask, begins by saying that the backlash from his previous interview was “great for a presidential campaign,” before blaming Jewish people for Hitler’s “reputation” and comparing abortion to “eugenics,” “genocide” and the Holocaust.” He then repeats his claims that “Jewish people control the majority of the media, along with banks, along with real estate, along with malls.” He adds: “They can control the story. History is made by the winners.”

The rapper also elaborates on his mental health, saying Ben Shapiro “tells the story that I’m going to kill myself.” West then says that if “they” try to “kill” him, as they did with “Michael Jackson or JFK…or Aaron Carter”, they could say it was “Ye’s sanity”.

West continues his comparisons to the Holocaust mid-interview when discussing pornography, claiming “there’s a conspiracy of Jewish lawyers and executives and everything else you can think of” who are “giving porn to America”. West continues to say that porn is “the gas chamber, it’s a silent killer” to “keep us stupid”. He also quotes his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, who he says is used to “selling it.”

At one point, McInnes asks West a hypothetical question. “So you’re president of the United States,” says McInnes. “It’s the first day and someone comes in and says, ‘What are we going to do with these Jews?’ What do you say? West replies, making Fuentes and McInnes laugh, “Jews should be working for Christians. I’ll hire a Jewish person like that if I know they’re not a spy and I can look through their phone and see their house.” and can have a camera in their living room.”

Later in the interview, McInnes Fuentes repeats an earlier claim that “ethnomasochism” is a “genetically white thing,” which Fuentes counters by saying, “liberalism has poisoned the well for whites.” Fuentes then takes the opportunity to dive into a thread about his childhood, claiming that “kids love Hitler” and there’s something compelling about the videos, propaganda, and symbols. When McInnes questions Fuentes’ claim, the Holocaust denier clarifies that he is talking about children on 4chan and the internet.

Fuentes — who has been labeled a “white supremacist” by the Anti-Defamation League — praised Hitler at an America First Political Action Conference (AFPAC) in February. Before introducing Deputy Marjorie Taylor Greene to the audience, Fuentes said: “And now they go on and on about Russia and ‘Vladimir Putin is Hitler’ — and they say that’s not a good thing… Can we get a round of applause for Russia? Yes!”

McInnes, the co-founder of Shame who left the media company in 2008 was banned from Twitter, Facebook and Instagram in 2018 for promoting content related to violent extremist groups and hate speech. In 2020, his YouTube account was suspended for violating the platform’s policy on hate speech and incitement to violence.

West ends the interview by saying he “loves everyone” and says that “the rules of the land will be based on the bible”.

“Jewish people can’t tell me who to love and who not to love,” he continues. “You can’t say, you can’t force your pain on everyone. Jewish people, forgive Hitler today.”
