Kathie Lee Gifford is going to be a grandmother again.
The daughter of former Today host Cassidy shared the good news on social media with a sweet photo of two larger stockings and one much smaller hanging from the fireplace.
“A whole lot of extra to praise Jesus for this Christmas,” the 29-year-old mom-to-be wrote, “Our little peanut arrives in June 2023.”

She then followed the announcement with a reference to the Bible verse Jeremiah 1:5 which reads, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations.’
Kathie Lee, 69, shared the big news on her Instagram feed, writing: “Beyond excited for my sweet girl @cassidygiff and @letsgetweirda.”

Cassidy and her husband, Ben Weirda, 32, got married in 2020 but have known each other for most of their lives. “Our moms met through a mutual friend in the Florida Keys, and my family used to go on vacation. Their children were the same age as my brother and I. You don’t always get along with your family friends’ kids, but we hit it off,” she told People.

Cassidy is the youngest daughter of Kathie Lee and her late husband, former NFL star Frank Gifford.
Ben’s grandparents founded the Prince auto empire in Michigan, and he is the cousin of former education secretary Betsy De Vos and Blackwater founder Erik Prince.
The new little one will join their older cousin, Frank Michael, the son of Cassidy’s older brother Cody, 32, and his wife, Erika Brown Gifford, in about six months.
