magical mike got hot in more ways than one. After hosting a near-Broadway show, a residency in Las Vegas, two films and a documentary series, the film — loosely inspired by star Channing Tatum’s experiences as a male stripper in Florida — takes its last show overseas to London. Magic Mike’s Last Dance is the final installment in the movie franchise and promises to be the “Super Bowl of stripping” for all those who celebrate throwing balls. Below everything you need to prepare for the fantasy, not football, of the Last dance.

Channing Tatum returns as Michael Lane, aka the titular Magic Mike. Next to him on stage from the first two movies is Adam Rodriguez as Tito. However, if you want to see if dancers like Matthew McConaughey or Donald Glover return for an encore, there are currently no other stars confirmed for a comeback. In terms of newcomers, Salma Hayek replaced the previously announced Thandiwe Newton in an unnamed female lead. Caitlin Gerard and Gavin Spokes round out the cast.

We understand it. You want to see where Michael Lane stands on his hero’s journey. How will his journey be emotionally as he crosses the Atlantic for this latest film? Just kidding, people want to see hunks with no clothes on! Like a child waiting on Christmas Eve for Santa to bring presents, we waited with bated breath for the ultimate gift (an official trailer) to arrive. The trailer introduces Hayek as a wealthy MILF involved with Michael Lane. Look below.

Aside from Tatum calling the movie “The Superbowl of Stripping,” most of the plot details are for the Last dance have been kept a secret, but it does promise to celebrate all types of dancing. “I want professional dancers [from all over]Russian ballet dancers, I want to go for it and create a completely new genre of this form,” Tatum shared People. We do know that the Michael Lane is on its way to Britain. The first trailer is an introduction to Lane and the budding love affair of a wealthy socialite (Hayek). They meet in Miami, become obsessed with each other (hot) and leave for London, where Hayek offers to fund one last gig. The film brings back the former magical mike director, Steven Soderbergh, to close out the show.

On Friday, October 21, Hayek shared a film still on Instagram with a first look at her character with her hand on Tatum’s abs. It’s a strangely intense image – with Tatum’s serious expression and Hayek’s eyes closed, she looks like she’s using witchcraft to strip his abs of their magical power. “A sneak peek at what’s in theaters this Valentine’s Day weekend,” Hayek wrote in the caption. “You won’t want to miss #MagicMikesLastDance.”

Originally slated for an HBO Max release, the movie will instead hit theaters on Feb. 10, 2023 — Super Bowl weekend for those who celebrate — to defy Warner Bros. belief. CEO David Zaslav that theatrical releases are good for business, according to Deadline. We’re ready for some football, the finale of the beloved stripper franchise.
