A man died Friday afternoon after a shooting in the Land Park area of Sacramento, officials said. The Sacramento Police Department said officers went to the 4100 block of 23rd Street after receiving a call about a shooting. There they found a 37-year-old man who had been shot at least once. Friends of that man drove him to the 76 gas station on Del Rio and Sutterville roads, police said. An ambulance attended the scene to pick up the victim and take him to hospital where he later died of his injuries.
