Police on Saturday identified three Manhattan residents arrested in connection with violent Tire Nichols demonstrations in Times Square.
Candy Nicole, 25, was charged with assault, hate crime assault and two counts of obstruction of government administration for striking one officer on the nose and another on the head in the fracas on Friday night, the NYPD said.
Argenis Rivera, 33, was charged with criminal mischief for jumping onto a marked NYPD cruiser and smashing the windshield with his foot, police said.
Katherine Stone, 34, was ticketed for criminal misconduct and possession of graffiti tools after she defaced the police car, authorities said.

The trio were handcuffed in the Crossroads of the World after protests over Nichols’ police death turned violent.
The Times Square protest was one of many that erupted in the Big Apple as the sun went down. Others have sprung up in Union Square and Grand Central Terminal.
Nichols died earlier this month after being pulled over by Memphis police. The five officers involved in the traffic control were charged with murder on Thursday. Nichols and the five officers were black.
The death of the 29-year-old Fed Ex driver has sparked condemnation from leaders across the country who are urging peaceful demonstrations after the release of the graphic footage showing Nichols being beaten and tased.
