Shot one person in a Harrisburg apartment
WELL JEREMY, SADLY, ANOTHER SHOOTING IN THE CITY OF HARRISBURG. THIS ON WOODBINE AND THIS APARTMENT BUILDING JUST BEHIND ME HERE. THE INFORMATION IS STILL VERY LIMITED ON THIS POINT, BUT WE DO KNOW THAT WE BELIEVE ONE MAN HAS ACTUALLY BEEN SHOT AND IS NOW APPEARINGLY IN THE HOSPITAL. HIS CONDITION IS UNKNOWN, IS ALSO UNKNOWN. IF THERE IS A SUSPECT IN THIS INCIDENT, THE POLICE HAVE NOT ANSWER TO EMAILS, TEXT MESSAGES OR CALLS. SO WE JUST CONTINUE WHAT WE HEAR FROM RESIDENTS. I SPEAK TO SOME OF THEM WHO SAY THAT EARLY TODAY, A SHORTLY BEFORE 3:00 PM, THEY DID NOT HEAR A SINGLE GUNSHOT, AND THEN PRETTY QUIET. THEY SAY THAT THEY HAVE AN AMBULANCE ARRIVED AT THIS BUILDING. THEY DID NOT SEE ANYONE BEING LOADED INTO THAT AMBULANCE. ANOTHER REPORTED THAT SHE HAD SOMEONE RUN FROM THE SCENE. SO REALLY, ALL THE INFORMATION WE HAVE IS REALLY WHAT THE PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY SAY. AS NOW WE HAVE NOT HEARNED ANYTHING FROM THE CITY. RESIDENTS IN THIS AREA ARE NOT NEW TO THAT HAPPENING. IN FACT LAST MONTH AND JUST REDUCED A LITTLE BIT ON WOODBINE A MAN WAS SHOT IN THE BACK AND WAS IN CRITICAL CONDITION, CONDITION. AND LEFT SPRING A 12 YEAR OLD GIRL WAS SHOT IN THE LEG HERE ON WOODBINE. SO, AS I AM SAYING, RESIDENTIALS, THIS IS NOT SOMETHING NEW TO THEM. BUT OF COURSE THEY DON’T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD, NO MATTER WHAT IT IS. THAT’S ALL THEY SAY HERE. THAT’S THE FEELING THAT IS SHARED. One person was shot in Harrisburg on Sunday afternoon. The shooting took place shortly before 3 p.m. at an apartment on the 500 block of Woodbine Street. One man was shot and taken to hospital. He is expected to recover. Neighbors told WGAL reporter Amber Gerard they heard a single gunshot. Police have not said if anyone has been arrested. Nor have they identified any suspects. However, investigators believe the shooting was targeted. Previous shootings About a month ago, a man was shot in the back in the same area.
