Riverside Theater evacuated due to bomb threat

The Riverside Theater was evacuated Saturday night due to a bomb threat. A WISN 12 News staffer, who was at the theater, said Patti LaBelle’s show was cut off midway through the concert to allow patrons to leave. The concert has been postponed until further notice. “We were dancing on the show and having a really good time, and then all of a sudden you see two guys come around Patti LaBelle, and you see two men start taking her off stage. I thought she was sick. I knew something had happened, I didn’t know what,” said concertgoer Mechel Penebaker. Milwaukee police told WISN 12 News that everyone was able to safely evacuate from the building searched by K9 units — no explosives were found and there was no credible threat. “It’s a pity you can’t enjoy yourself and have fun.” get confused, we needed this for peace and harmony in the city,” concertgoer Vanessa said. “It’s a pity you can’t enjoy yourself and have fun. It was nice to get confused, we needed this for peace and harmony in the city,” said concert-goer Vanessa.
