Incentive payments are one of the hallmarks of the coronavirus pandemic, with the federal government’s trillions of dollars making the biggest headlines. But states have also made payments. While much of the stimulus has already been distributed, a number of states are still sending out payments in November and beyond. Here’s a quick rundown of the state’s stimulus payments still on the way.

California
California began sending payments between $200 and $1,050 on October 7, but they will continue through January 2023. However, the state’s Franchise Tax Board expects 95% of payments to be in the hands of residents by December 31, 2022. to be.
Colorado
Colorado paid $750 to single filers and $1,500 to joint filers on September 30, 2022. However, those who have been granted a deferment to file their tax returns will not receive their payments until January 31, 2023.

Idaho
Most Idaho incentive payments have already been sent, but for those who have filed their taxes late, rebates will be processed in 2022 and through 2023. Two incentive payments are authorized in Idaho. The first was the highest of $75 or 12% of a tax authority’s liability before credits and other adjustments, while the second was the highest of $300 for single filers ($600 for joint filers) or 10% of tax liability before credits. and other adjustments.
Illinois
Illinois began sending stimulus payments in September 2022, but the process is ongoing and is expected to take most of the year. New Jersey
With certain qualifications, New Jersey residents who owned or rented a primary residence in the state on October 1, 2019, are eligible for payments expected to be sent no later than May 2023. Qualified renters receive $450, while homeowners with household incomes of $250,000 or less receive $1,000 or $1,500.
Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania began issuing real estate tax/rental discount checks in August 2022. Depending on income and other qualifying factors, Pennsylvania renters and homeowners receive a benefit that can reach up to $650. Payments will continue through 2023, but eligible individuals must file a claim before the end of the year.
Rhode Island
Rhode Island began shipping child tax credit checks to eligible families on Oct. 3. Those who have filed an extension of their tax return may not see their payments until December 2022. Eligible families will receive a check for $250 per eligible child, up to a maximum of $750.
south carolina
Tax credits will be granted in South Carolina to eligible individuals before December 31, 2022, but those who file their taxes late may not receive payment until March 2023. The discount amount is not final yet, but the maximum amount will be at least $700, and possibly higher.
