Daniel Radcliffe makes out with Evan Rachel Wood, while the two portray “Weird Al” Yankovic and Madonna in a recently released trailer for an upcoming biopic.
“Weird: The Al Yankovic Story” showcases the parody songwriter’s rise, including his meeting with Madonna. Radcliffe’s look for the film includes Weird Al’s curly locks and mustache. Wood’s appearance as Madonna includes her teased blonde hair and dark eye makeup.
The trailer shows the “Like A Virgin” singer arriving at Weird Al’s house to ask if he can parody one of her songs.
The trailer then cuts to the kissing session between the two.

“All I wanted was to come up with new words for a song that already exists,” Radcliffe, who plays Yankovic, says in the trailer as he talks about his creative process. “I’m tired of everyone thinking I’m some kind of joke .”
Radcliffe was actually chosen by Yankovic himself for the biopic. The ‘Harry Potter’ star revealed that a crazy moment in 2010 led to him getting the part.
“When I first spoke to Al, I thought, ‘I’m very flattered by the idea that you would choose me to play you, but why me?'” he said during an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy.” fallon.”

“I sang ‘The Elements’ alongside Colin Farrell and a very stunned Rihanna, who I think was like, ‘Who is this kid and why is he singing all the elements?'” Radcliffe recalled. “And I think Al saw that and thought, ‘This guy might get it.’ And so chose me.”
Radcliffe also gushed about meeting Yankovic and the opportunity to work with him for the film.
“He’s the best,” Radcliffe said during an interview with “Good Morning America.”

“I know everyone says this about him, but it’s so nice to meet someone you look up to and know as a hero to so many people, and to just be nice and fun and love them. I can go to now my grave to say that I had accordion lessons with Weird Al.”
“Weird: The Al Yankovic Story” premieres November 4 on The Roku Channel.
