Winners Of 2022 MAMA Awards Day 2

Date:

The second and final day of this year’s MAMA Awards 2022 has ended in Osaka, Japan!

Day 2 of the 2022 MAMA Awards took place at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka on November 30, with Park Bo Gum as MC. Check out some of the red carpet looks from Day 2 here!

During the event on Day 1 of the show on November 29, the awards for Yogibo Worldwide Icon of the Year, Favorite New Artist, Worldwide Fans’ Choice (Bonsang), Yogibo Chill Artist and Favorite Asian Artist were handed out.

In addition to winning the Yogibo Worldwide Icon of the Year award on Day 1, BTS received the special MAMA Platinum award for creating “a global cultural phenomenon beyond K-pop.” This platinum award also recognizes BTS’ MAMA achievements over the years in all four Daesang (Grand Prize) categories, including Global Icon of the Year, Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year.

While BTS took home three of four Daesangs this year, Song of the Year was awarded to IVE. This makes the rookie girl group, who won Favorite New Artist on Day 1, only the third group to win a Daesang and a rookie award on MAMA in the same year.
