The FIFA World Cup 2022 continued Wednesday on FOX with Belgium predominant Canada by a 1-0 score at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan, Qatar.
Highlights Belgium vs. Canada
A single brilliant moment from Michy Batshuayi gave Belgium a narrow 1-0 victory over Canada on Wednesday evening.
A goal in the 44th minute from Michy Batshuayi turned out to make the difference. Canada had several chances but is still looking for its first ever World Cup goal and has now fallen to an all-time 0-4-0 in the tournament. A crucial no-call from a possible Belgian penalty that would have awarded Canada a penalty also drew criticism.
