Ecuador is aiming to secure its place in the knockout stages for the second time in World Cup history. All it takes is a draw or a win on Tuesday. On the other hand, Senegal is looking for a much-needed win as competition heats up. It can only advance to the knockout phase if it wins or if it draws and the Netherlands gets upset by Qatar in a match that is played simultaneously on FOX.

Ismaïla Sarr was fouled by an Ecuadorian player as she chased a ball into the box and drew a penalty kick to give Senegal their best goal-scoring opportunity of the game.

Sarr converted the penalty kick to give Senegal a 1-0 lead. If the result is correct, Senegal will advance to the knockout stage and Ecuador will go home. With the Netherlands ahead in Qatar at half-time, Ecuador would need at least a draw to go through.
