Young & Restless: Ashley and Diane Court Danger, Victor Guns for Sally

It was a short week before Young & Restless with sports advances on Thursdays and Fridays, and a slightly shorter soapbox. Enough to talk about anyway…

I don’t know why Elena is staying with Nate at this point; he continues to make his priorities clear. He was so grateful to have gotten back into her good graces, only to have her get up to hang out with Victoria after hours at the office. I don’t even understand what he was thinking with the whole plot to bring Chancellor-Winters under the Newman umbrella. Make it meaningful! The way they had Victoria throw drinks with Nate, you have to wonder if the writers are thinking about putting them together. I didn’t notice any sexual attraction between them – and you would if they were alone in the office, you would think – so who knows?

Torn between two lovers

Adam may have been telling the truth when he gave Sally the rundown on her relationship with Nick, but that doesn’t mean she’ll listen. He obviously got her attention with the proposal and speech in her suite afterwards, but he’s still spreading such loose cannon that there’s no way she’s going to change course. Nick, for his part, is doing and saying the right things with his knight-in-shining-armor routine and making her feel safe. But this back and forth cannot go on indefinitely. What do you think will happen when Victor gets wind of his sons fighting over the redhead? Nothing good. In reality, SOD recently teased that Victor is going to dig into Sally’s past! It is guaranteed to come with a lot of dirt. Do you want a reminder of what he will find? Relive Sally’s history in photos here.

Thanksgiving chill

If Ashley has any more fights with Diane, we should start calling her “Clashley”… but how cute were they?!? Ashley mocking that Diane is so obvious it is disgusting, and Diane begs Ashley to wake up and realize that Tucker is using her… just as Jack walks in and slams the door to break it up. Thanksgiving at the Abbotts was delightful back then, with Diane’s arrival popping like a lead balloon, the whispers and knocking down of drinks, and Jack cheering everyone—including Diane, who declared himself part of the family much to Ashley’s chagrin—to the turn to come. thanks. Fortunately, we have the soapy tension and the emotion when Ol ‘Smilin’ burst into tears as he held out the toast. I’m ready for this feud to be kicked up a notch with the foreshadowing of all the danger and Ashley declaring to Tucker, “It’s time to take that bitch down.” The expression on his face made it clear he enjoyed it all of this.

Thanksgiving revelations

Sharon’s vacation week consisted of helping Chelsea, Noah abandoning her due to Audra’s miscarriage, and Mariah and Tessa revealing that their adoption had failed. More on that next week. Eventually, Sharon’s annual event to feed the homeless at Crimson Lights kicked off with a packed house of helpers and a long line of people in need. And in the midst of the aforementioned issues, there was a heartwarming bit when Johnny sat down with Chelsea.

Those are bananas

My favorite event this week was Daniel’s return. Lily lit up like a Christmas tree in his presence…and it was as if someone turned a dimmer switch off when he left her in Billy’s company. Daniel later confessed to Phyllis, who was overjoyed to see him, that he and Heather are on the rocks. Don’t you say?!? Handily, he also has a business idea and tells Summer in the preview that he wants to work with Chancellor-Winters. With Lily keeping tabs on Chelsea and Billy’s connection at Crimson Lights, the writing on the wall is in fluorescent red spray paint – Lily and Daniel get back together. Oh, and for those of you wondering if they dress up like fruit while on the run together, see:

Victor is all-knowing and all-seeing except when it comes to Abby, who managed to blow his socks off by announcing that she and Chance had hit rock bottom and that she wouldn’t be coming to the ranch for Thanksgiving. Just wait until he confronts Chance with his, “What have you done to my daughter?” routine, only to discover that Abby was the one who did it wrong! Meanwhile, all the talk is about who Chance’s next love interest will be. See here what a clue can be.

This is just my opinion. Leave your thoughts on The Young and the Restless in the comment section below and have a safe and happy Thanksgiving holiday!
