IT IS A PRETTY BIG. STORM FURTHER SOUTH WITH RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER. AS YOU MOVE NORTH, WE ENTER AN AREA OF COOL AIR THAT TURNS THINGS INTO ZERO AND SNOW. THAT AND RAINFALL AFFECTED US AS IT DRIVES OUT OF THE CENTRAL PART OF THE UNITED STATES. WE HAVE GIVEN A WINTER STORM WARNING BEFORE. EVERYONE IN PINK THOSE WILL BE THE AREAS WITH THE BIGGEST IMPACT AND BUILD-UP OF SNOW. PLEASE NOTE AS YOU GO TO THE SOUTH AND EAST WE HAVE PURPLE ON THE MAP WHICH IS A WINTER. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A BUILD-UP OF SNOW THAT WILL BE LESS, LESS TOTAL AND IMPACT. EVERYONE WILL SEE A WINDOW OF RAPID SNOW BUILDING AND TRAVEL HEADACHES HERE. THE WORST PROBLEMS WILL BE IN THE WINTER STORM WARNING AREAS. TODAY, 43 FOR THE HIGH, MOSTLY CLOUDY THE BIGGEST OF THE DAY. TIMES OF SUNSHINE LIKE NOW, AND THEN THE CLOUDS COME BACK TONIGHT. 31 TONIGHT WITH SNOW DEVELOPING AND BUILDING QUICKLY. TWO TO FOUR INCHES AVERAGE WITH MORE OR LESS IN A CITY. TOMORROW, 39 TO THE HIGH WITH EARLY SNOW TURNING INTO A MIX AND THEN RAIN FOLLOWED BY LIGHT SNOW. RAIN AND SNOW BEGINS AT MIDNIGHT, A REALLY SMALL WINDOW FOR SNOW AND THIS WILL TRANSFORM INTO ALL SNOW VERY QUICKLY SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 1AM AND 3AM IN THE MORNING. WE ARE LOOKING FOR AREAS WITH VERY HEAVY ACCUMULATION. 5:00, EVERYTHING SNOWING AND SEE HOW HEAVY IT IS IN SOME CITIES. 07:00 AND 08:00 WARMER AIR COMES IN WHICH MEANS WE COULD SEE THIS TRANSITION TO MORE OF A MIXTURE OF ZEIL AND EVEN RAIN TO THE SOUTH. TRANSITION AFTER SOME VERY RAPID ACCUMULATION WITH AT NIGHT AND TO AROUND 6:00 AM WHEN WE SEE THE WORST RIDING CONDITIONS AND THINGS LOOKING LOOKING OF ZEALOUS — LIKE WITH THE ZEALOUS AND THEN THE TRANSITION AREA. 12:00 MOST OF US SEE RAIN WITH SNOW WHEN GOING NORTHWEST. THEY HAVE, AND SEE FRANKLIN COUNTY — FAYETTE, FRANKLIN, SEE A LOT OF SNOW. Winter Storm Warning: Snow that accumulates quickly and falls 2-5 inches over Cincinnati

Just as one winter storm moves away, another takes aim at Greater Cincinnati. Snow accumulation offers opportunities for snowy roads midway through the week. LIVE RADAR // LATEST WEATHER ALERTS // CLOSURES AND DELAYS Tuesday will be mostly dry. We start fresh in the 20s, but plan highs in the low 40s and mostly cloudy skies. The storm won’t arrive until after midnight. Another strong storm with potentially high impact will arrive in our area late Tuesday and early Wednesday. Accumulating snow moves in after midnight and piles up quickly as the snow gets heavy. Most of the snow will be before dawn on Wednesday morning. By 8 a.m., the mixing line heads into Cincinnati with a transition to some sleet or rain. The rain/mix line operates from south to north through mid to late morning. By noon, it will all be raining, with the exception of the far northwest in Southeast Indiana, where snow may remain until noon. Snow totals will be higher the farther north/northwest you live. Most around Greater Cincinnati pick up 2-4 inches. Areas in the north/northwest may see closer to 4-5 inches. Expect snowy roads and messy travel on Wednesday morning. Roads should slowly improve Wednesday afternoon as we see light rain/drizzle. A few showers are possible after 5 p.m. Thunderstorms and snow showers remain in the forecast for Thursday and Friday. Our next chance for moisture will come as rain or a wintry mix on Sunday. This may affect Bengals AFC Championship viewing parties!
